What you don't understand doesn't make it false, and then to immediately conclude that because you didn't understand him therefore he is manipulating words is simply arrogant.
There is alot of things in this world that have a evidence that prove things but then still dismiss or ignored because it contradicts their belief system, and there are those that can't be physically proven but is very true.
There is wisdom in what he says. You may not get it now but perhaps when you get older you will.
I wanted to be negative towards his narrow viewpoint as well, but I think that response is driven by a fear of being misunderstood and a desire for progress. I think for our part it is more important to respond with acceptance, because his views are just as valid as our own. all of us will become what we are at our own pace

In the end the evidence that you need is something that can be observed for an objective basis for you to follow. To emphasize far more to the observation or observed while excluding the observer still ironically happens through the observer. This mean that objectivity is subjective because this still comes from the subjective individual. Which is why regardless if something is proven or debunk there would always be those who would agree or disagree with it.
